Músicos famosos juntam-se para lutar contra o ébola

Bob Geldof, conhecido músico irlandês, voltou a convocar grandes nomes da música por uma nova causa, desta vez, o ébola. Geldof gravou uma nova versão do single "Do They Know It’s Christmas" para angariar fundos para a luta contra a doença, no ano em que se assinalam 30 anos da primeira versão da canção, criada para chamar a atenção para a crise de fome na Etiópia.

Esta nova versão da canção foi gravada no dia 15 de Novembro nos estúdios Sarm, em Notting Hill, Londres, e foi divulgada pela primeira vez na noite de ontem, durante uma transmissão do programa X Factor no Reino Unido.

Este ano, "Do They Know It’s Christmas" tem uma letra diferente e conta com as participações de Bono dos U2, Chris Martin dos Coldplay, Robert Plant dos Led Zeppelin, Ellie Goulding, One Direction, Seal, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Sinead O’Connor, Rita Ora, Clean Bandit, Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Roger Taylor, Underworld, Bastille, Elbow, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, Jimmy Napes, Emile Sandé, Anélique Kidjo, Paloma Faith, Fuse ODG, Bob Geldof e Midge Ure. Ao todo, foram 26 os músicos famosos que se juntaram para lutar contra o ébola.
